When you were a little girl, did you give any thought to what it meant to be a girl, and then grow into a woman? Did you automatically think that pink is what you associated with girly-ness? Being a mother, a wife, wearing high heels, looking “sexy,” wearing makeup, having long hair, big boobs, are these all things you considered to make you feminine make you a woman? While many of these things do indeed make a woman a woman, there is more beneath the surface that has been largely overlooked and widely ignored for decades, if not hundreds of years.
We have been presented a very narrow view of what femininity and masculinity are, and that is generally what we see repeated daily in television, movies, magazines, the Internet, and porn. I think the world would be so different if we never stopped asking “why?” Everyone would think more deeply and act more intentionally. It is time to bring back the “why?” Why do I stick a tampon up my vagina? Why am I made to feel weird about a natural body process? Why are women told to lie on their backs to give birth? Why do you want to be a parent? Why? Why? Why? Start asking questions about what feminine is to you, and then make space in your heart and mind for the answers. You may be surprised by what you find out!
I'm here to shake things up and get women into their feminine rhythms by paving the way with leading edge philosophies and practices for women who want to live in the freedom of their feminine essence!
