If you notice yourself bogged down by the intensity of world events, use these tips to keep you grounded and sane in time of global turmoil.
~ Start your day with simplicity: meditate, read spiritually uplifting material, move your body, pray, think of 3 things you're grateful for.
~ Spend time in nature: even stepping out in the dirt or grass for a few minutes can recharge your body
~ Take time to connect with the earth's rhythms by sitting or squatting on the ground. This is especially powerful during your moontime. Breathe and let go, allowing your energy to flow down the earth, and back up again through your feet. Open your pelvic floor and root chakra to let the energy exchange between you and the earth
~ Take special notice and care of the wonders, beauty and love around you. Show your friends and family how much you care by listening to them, giving them a gift or saying something nice. Appreciate what you have and pray for peace, send out love to the world and those who are hurting.
